We may also receive information you give us over the phone, by email, or in person when arranging or carrying out electrical work at your property.
Why we collect it
We use your information to provide quotes, schedule jobs, perform electrical work, communicate with you about your enquiry, and meet our obligations under electrical safety regulations and Australian tax and accounting rules.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party providers to run the business. Your information may be processed by:
- Google, which stores our contact form submissions in Google Sheets and supports our email through Google Workspace
- Vercel, which hosts this website and processes form submissions before they reach us
- Payment and accounting providers we use to issue invoices and keep our books
We do not sell your information. We only share what is necessary for the providers above to do their job, and we expect them to handle your data securely.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the work and our legal obligations. Tax and invoicing records are kept for up to 7 years, in line with Australian Taxation Office requirements. Quote enquiries that do not progress to a job are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. We will action requests promptly, subject to any record-keeping obligations we have under Australian law.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection, and access to our internal systems is restricted to people who need it. No online system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels. Our host, Vercel, may set basic cookies needed for the site to function and to record anonymous hosting analytics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Children
Our services are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent update. If we make a material change, we will update the page and, where appropriate, let affected customers know directly.
