Alexandria is one of the most interesting suburbs we work in because of how much of it has flipped from industrial to mixed-use over the last fifteen years. The big brick warehouses off Bourke and Botany Roads have been carved up into apartments, creative studios, and small offices, while the genuinely industrial pockets are still very much active and running three-phase machinery, large compressors, and proper commercial loads.

That mix means the kind of electrical job changes street by street. On the residential side, we do a lot of warehouse-conversion work: lighting design for large open volumes, sub-board installs for new bathrooms and kitchens, and EV charger installs as the newer residents in the area drive significant uptake. Alexandria probably has one of the highest EV-charger-per-household ratios in our service area, and most of the installs we quote here are for either single-bay residential 7kW units or shared-strata 11kW setups.

On the commercial side, the still-industrial parts of Alexandria need a different skill set. We service three-phase faults, do compliance testing on commercial switchboards, install motor circuits, and handle the kind of work that needs a calm head and a proper risk assessment before anything is energised. Mani and the team have done that work in factories across Sydney for years, so it's familiar territory.
